What’s Included

What our couch cleaning service covers

Every couch is different. We assess the fabric, stains, and usage, then apply the safest method to achieve the best possible result.

Pre-inspection & fabric test

We identify the upholstery type, check for colourfastness, and select the right cleaning approach.

Deep clean of cushions & frame

Thorough cleaning of seat cushions, back cushions, arms, and the full frame area (including creases and seams).

Spot treatment for stains

Targeted stain treatment for common marks such as food, drink, makeup, and general soiling (results vary by stain type and age).

Deodorising & fresh finish

Optional deodorising to help reduce everyday odours and leave your couch feeling fresh.

Our step-by-step couch cleaning process

1) Preparation & protection

We protect nearby floors and surrounding areas, then vacuum to remove loose dust, crumbs, and pet hair.

2) Pre-spray & agitation

We apply an upholstery-safe pre-treatment and gently agitate to lift embedded grime from fibres and seams.

3) Extraction / low-moisture clean

We use the most suitable method for your fabric—hot water extraction or low-moisture cleaning—then perform detail passes on high-traffic areas.

Couch cleaning details

Helpful information about preparation, timeframes, fabrics, stains, odours, and aftercare.

What do you need from me before you arrive?

Please clear small items from the couch (throws, cushions if removable, toys), and ensure we have easy access to the area. If possible, keep pets in another room during the clean.

How long does couch cleaning usually take?

Most standard couches take around 60–120 minutes, depending on size, fabric type, and the level of soiling. Larger modulars or heavily stained lounges may take longer.

How long will it take to dry?

Drying typically takes 4–8 hours. Factors include fabric type, ventilation, and weather. We recommend good airflow (open windows, fans) to speed up drying.

What fabrics can you clean?

We commonly clean polyester, microfibre, cotton blends, and many synthetic upholstery fabrics. We always perform a fabric and colourfastness test first.

Are there fabrics you can’t clean?

Some delicate or specialist materials (for example, certain silk, viscose, or heavily water-sensitive fabrics) may require specialist treatment. If a fabric is not suitable for wet cleaning, we will recommend the safest alternative.

Can you remove all stains and odours?

We use professional stain and odour treatments, but results depend on the stain type, how long it has been there, and previous DIY attempts. We will always set clear expectations after inspection and aim for the best achievable outcome.
